The
Avro RJ Family of regional jets enables airlines to provide seamless service between mainline and regional routes. With jet speed and comfort, the three RJ versions have seating capacities from 70 to over 110 seats while offering complete airframe and engine commonality. A total of 166 Avro Regional Jets (RJ) were built between 1993 and 2002.
Successor to the
BAe146 four-engine jetliner, the Avro RJ Family aircraft are versatile performers with wide, modern cabin, low interior noise levels, and large overhead storage bins.
The Avro RJ features a modern flight deck. The all-digital ARINC 700 avionics provide increased reliability and reduce ownership costs compared with older equipment standards. The Category IIIa autopilot and autothrottle give low minima landing capability for improved operational reliability, and Category IIIb is now available as an option.
AM&PS produce all publications for the Avro RJ.
