BAe HAWK

Hawk is the world's most successful advanced jet training aircraft, outperforming and outselling all other aircraft in its class. Over 900 Hawk aircraft are in operational service with or have been ordered/selected by 19 customers world-wide, and over 1.5 million flying hours have been logged on the type. The Hawk operates in extreme environments that range from Finland in the Arctic Circle to Saudi Arabia in the arid Middle East and Malaysia in the Tropics. Over 800 aircraft have been ordered, or selected, by 17 countries world-wide. Available in four versions:

  • 60 - development of the earlier Hawk 50 with enhanced performance.
  • 100 - an advanced two-seat weapons system trainer with enhanced ground attack capability.
  • LIFT - Lead In Fighter Trainer, the latest version of the Hawk 100 developed from the Australian Hawk LIF requirement.
  • 200 - a single-seat, radar equipped, lightweight multi-role combat aircraft, providing comprehensive air defence and ground attack capabilities.

AM&PS produced revisions to the Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Illustrated Parts Catalogue, Aircrew Manuals, Flight Reference Cards and the Stores (Weapons) Loading Manual publications for the Royal Australian Air Force Lead In Fighter (LIF), Hawk India Project and the RAF Advanced Jet Trainer (AJT).
